piercing info

We do professional body piercing using top-quality Wildcat Titanium jewellery. Grade 23 Titanium is now challenging stainless steel as the favoured metal in the body piercing industry. It is only half the weight of steel, has a super-smooth surface and extreme chemical stability making it suitable for all primary piercings in accordance with the European Union Nickel Directive. It's a little more expensive than steel, but when it comes to your health, aren't you worth it?

You must be over 18 (with photo ID) to have your nipples or genitals pierced in Queensland. (See Summary Offences Act 2005, Part 2, Division 4, Section18).
TATTOO NOTES...

CHILDREN are not allowed in our studios. I really don't know why people turn up for tattoos with kids in tow, but it happens occasionally. A tattoo studio is NO PLACE FOR CHILDREN. There are many dangers such as sharps bins, hazardous waste bins, hot surfaces etc. And frankly, our artists are trying to WORK. Putting up with your little darling's antics and noise is not part of the contract.

There seems to be a lot of confusion lately re: the LEGAL AGE to get a tattoo in Queensland. Under the Summary Offences Act 2005, it unambiguously states that you must be at least 18 years of age. No if's, buts, or maybe's. Parental consent is total bullshit, made up by dodgy studios that can't get enough adults to tattoo. Parents can actually be charged with a criminal offence if they allow their child to be tattooed. EVERYTHING BUT THE BIKE has a strict NO PHOTO I.D. = NO TATTOO policy (unless of course you are quite obviously over 30!). We've heard all the "I just lost my license" excuses, so don't bother trying; you'll only waste your time and our time.

Thinking of getting a tattoo on your foot? Please be aware that you CANNOT wear shoes that rub on your tat for AT LEAST TWO WEEKS. Even one little strap will do damage, so if you're not prepared to look after a foot tattoo properly, don't get one. Of course ALL tattoos need to be looked after properly if you want a good result, but we're finding that foot tattoos especially seem to be a problem for clients.
