Though these types of saddlebags are called "throwover", it is recommended that the strap connecting the bags is secured UNDER the seat. Otherwise the bags could blow off the bike at high speed if not tied down securely. It is also recommended that saddlebag support frames are fitted to your bike. These are generally manufactured specifically for each make and model so need to be bought from the motorcycle dealer, or manufactured to suit.
